M’liss is a feisty tom-boy growing up in the boom-town of Red Gulch. She meets the new school teacher, Charles Gray, when she playfully holds up his stage-coach with her slingshot. Soon the two are friends but when Charles is implicated in a murder, M’liss must help save him from the angry townsfolk and their frontier justice.
