This story is based on the secret files of THE WILLIAM J. BURNS INTERNATIONAL DETECTIVE AGENCY INC. The names of characters have been changed to protect the privacy of the client. Each episode began with agent Ken Franklin (played by Art Fleming who later would find fame as a game the host of Jeopardy in the 1960Ís) receiving an assignment from agency head William J. Burns. International Detective was an Associated British Picture Corporation production for ABC Weekend Television, the ITV weekend franchise holder for the North and the Midlands.
