One of the first British films of feature length. Based on the Charles Dickens novel with all the familiar characters. The director made sure of using the real settings that Dickens describes in his story so that when David enters the city of Canterbury, we see the famous stone arch that welcomes the typical visitor to this day. For many years this was thought to be a lost film.
